Shire Libraries maintains a collection of historical photographs of the
Sutherland Shire. The historical photographs are held in the Local
Studies Collection at Sutherland Library.
The Library actively collects photographs of the Sutherland Shire which are of historical interest. Enquiries regarding the donation of local history material should be directed to the Local Studies Librarian at Sutherland Library.
Are all the Photographs Available in the Online Search?S
No, not all of the photographs in the collection are available in Picture Sutherland Shire. The vast majority of photographs are available online, however, there are a few that aren't there. We will add the photos that are not currently included as we become aware of them. The only way to access the full collection of photographs is from the Local Studies Collection at Sutherland Library.
